Frank Mackay has joined Wilson & Company’s architecture team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

“Frank brings a calm, organized management style coupled with a mastery of detailing and design,” said Michael Wright, NCARB, Architecture Operations Manager. “We see it as a great opportunity to have him as he is a valuable team member vital to building our team and project portfolio.

“It’s not Frank’s first exposure to our company’s great culture-- this will be his third time with the company. His history spans back to college, as our very own Howard Kaplan was his professor at the University of New Mexico. His expertise includes programming, site analysis, schematic design, cost analysis, construction drawings and specifications, bidding and procurement, as well as construction contract administration services. His experience spans a wide range of project types, including primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities, municipal facilities, office buildings, hotels, recreational facilities, light industrial, restaurant, medical offices, shopping centers, ecclesiastical, multi-family, and private housing. Frank’s background also includes historic renovations, parking studies, and building and roof investigation/analysis for appraisal and insurance purposes.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of New Mexico, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Westminster College in Missouri. He is a registered architect in New Mexico, and is a member of National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, American Institute of Architects, and Habitat for Humanity in Hobbs, NM.

In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, camping, swimming, photography, sketching, cooking, and relaxing with friends.
