David P. Acosta (LSIT) SURVEY TECHNICIAN
David became part of the Albuquerque Survey Dept in summer 2001 as a Rodman. As a student at New Mexico State University he worked summer and winter breaks until graduation in 2007. After earning his Bachelors Degree in Surveying Engineering from NMSU, he was recruited by Wilson & Company as a full time employee.
Throughout his career as a survey technician, he has earned his LSIT certification and is currently working on becoming a Professional Surveyor in the state of New Mexico.
Outside the office, David spends time with his wife Adrienne and three kids (Andrew 6, Diego 2 and Bella 6 months.) He enjoys photography, making music and traveling with his family as much as possible.
His favorite part about working at Wilson & Company is being able to participate in a wide variety of Surveys.

Steven Watt
President and Chief Executive Officer
Steven Watt, PE, President and Chief Executive Officer, joined the firm in 1987 and has more than 29 years experience in the A/E Industry. Steve’s background in transportation planning, design, and project management provides a broad understanding of the varied requirements in serving the engineering needs of clients. Personifying the Wilson & Company ideal of Higher Relationships, Steve is committed to helping communities find collaborative and innovative solutions to today’s transportation and environmental challenges. Internally, Steve aims to lead the company through intensity and discipline. He believes good things don’t just happen; they are the product of hard work. He holds a civil engineering degree from Colorado State University and is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and the American Consulting Engineers Council. Beyond his role at Wilson & Company, Steve is an avid (and so, long suffering) golfer. Since moving to Colorado in 1972, he has been an avid (and so, long suffering) Denver Broncos fan. These personal passions have helped him develop a pragmatic approach to life and business, tempered by a steadfast sense of hope.
- Favorite movie? Braveheart and Heaven Can Wait. I never miss an opportunity to use inspirational clips from each to liven up a business presentation. The positive messages of commitment and optimism are always encouraging.
- A favorite project you worked on? Between 1989 and 2004, I worked with the Colorado Department of Transportation on improvements to I-25 through Colorado Springs. As Program Manager, I was involved in planning, design, and construction of the 27-mile, $300 million corridor project. It was exciting to see the collective efforts of so many come together to deliver this vital project - it has been the highlight of my career.
- Describe your family. In January my wife, Mary, and I will celebrate our 30th anniversary. We met at Colorado State University and have two children. Our son Daniel is a graduate of the University of Denver and Nortwestern University and a professional musician; our daughter Sarah will graduate from Colorado State University in December with a degree in Business and Finance.
