Welcome to Wilson & Company,
Engineers & Architects of New Mexico.
In 1942, we opened our doors to the Albuquerque office
to provide engineering services to the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Since then, our capabilities have expanded to include Architectural, Environmental
Planning, Railroad and Surveying and Mapping services. In 2000, we expanded
into Rio Rancho. To further serve New Mexico's needs, we opened an office
in Las Cruces the following year.
City of Rio Rancho Mayor Jim Owens has observed that
the three greatest achievements of last year for Rio Rancho were: 1) widening
of Hwy 528, 2) addressing the City's water needs and 3) the settlement
of the Unit 16 lawsuits and redevelopment of that area. Wilson & Company
was a key player in all three!
Highway 528 - We are the design engineers on this innovative design build
project, which involves our surveying and transportation departments.
Water - We are managing the development of Rio Rancho's Water Resources
Management Plan, a multi-year effort started by our Environmental Group
in both the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho office.
Unit 16 - Wilson & Company was enlisted to help solve this highly
controversal problem. Through the efforts of our development crew, a new
property development team was assembled, lawsuits were settled and work
has begun on a master planned development that will include 3,000 - 3,500
residences, commercial space, parks, trails, roads, utilities, and all
the amenities.
We are proud of our involvement in New Mexico's infrastructure and urge
you to further explore the capabilities and projects of Wilson & Company.
