Inland Empire Maintenance Facility Metrolink

Hanson-Wilson Inc. has full-responsibility for the construction management of a passenger train maintenance facility adjacent to the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company (BNSF) San Bernardino Subdivision, at a site just east of the historic San Bernardino, CA Depot. The project also includes rehabilitation of the first mile of Metrolink passenger service extension to Redlands.

Team Members include a Resident Engineer, Office Engineer, Coordinator, Lead Inspector and Technical Assistant. Team Members pay strict adherence to document control requirements and Caltrans and FTA guidelines through Metrolink's comprehensive document control system. Client representation in change management, cost control and closeout is a function of the Team.

The maintenance facility site is adjacent to BNSF's busy transcontinental main line track, which requires coordination with BNSF safety personnel. Also, the project requires maintaining service to freight customers on the Redlands Branch during track construction.
