Ron Buck, PE, is a new member of the Wilson & Company team in Denver.
“Ron is a great addition to the team,” said Scott Waterman, Transportation West Service Unit Manager. “Ron’s arrival at Wilson & Company solidifies Construction Management as a critical piece of the services we offer in Denver. We worked with Ron extensively in the past when he was with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), and getting to work with him on a daily basis is something that several of us have been looking forward to for a long time.”
Ron is a Senior Project Manager, and has 30 years of engineering experience, including project management, environmental/NEPA studies, public involvement, and highway engineering design and construction. His project management duties have included supervising and coordinating the work of engineers and technicians, primarily in design and construction management as a CDOT Resident Engineer for 17 years in the Denver Metro area. Additionally, Ron has managed NEPA studies from purpose and need, alternative development, public involvement, and the final decision document. In recent years, CDOT recognized Ron’s aptitude for working with contractors during construction, providing the partnering approach that CDOT requires for success. Ron has been the go-to for difficult construction contracts, and has helped CDOT effectively resolve difficult contract situations.
Ron has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Iowa State University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Colorado.
