“Carey brings significant rail experience and is steadily growing our Denver, Kansas City, and Fort Worth Rail operation,” said Steven.

“Kelly’s experience with rail facilities has helped significantly grow our company,” he said. “Stephen exemplifies all of the technical and leadership qualities we look for in a Shareholder.”

“Nick’s commitment to Wilson & Company has been evident for 18 years, and it is a great pleasure to invite him to join our Company’s ownership,” Steven said. “Will is an active leader in our Kansas City operation and a member of our Higher Relationships Champions Program.”

Wilson & Company added enough staff to grow headcount by more than 11% in 2018, which helped them respond to the rapid increase in demand for the multi-disciplinary services offered by the firm. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, this matches the growing national need for more civil engineers as infrastructure continues to age. Employment of civil engineers is projected to grow by 11% between 2016 and 2026 to manage projects to rebuild, repair, and upgrade bridges, roads, levees, dams, airports, buildings, and structures of all types.
