Four New Operations Managers to Continue Wilson & Company’s Growth

Albuquerque, NM – April 29, 2020 – Wilson & Company, a national engineering and architecture firm with award-winning multi-disciplinary projects and culture defined by exceptional relationships, promoted four operations managers to lead a team serving municipal services clients. These new operations managers will encourage growth and Higher Relationships throughout their regions.

Brian Spano, PE, has been named as the Colorado Water Resources Operations Manager and will be opening opportunities to build new client relationships and expand municipal services in Colorado. He has 20 years of engineering experience, including a focus on water and wastewater design, construction, manufacturing, and project management.

“Brian has continued to provide leadership and commitment to Wilson & Company’s success,” said Senior Vice President and Municipal Services Division Manager Dan Aguirre PE, CFM. “Brian has taken the large step of moving his family to a new location to lead the implementation of the strategic plan for water resources growth in Colorado. He brings his leadership and an organized approach to operations management.”

Doug Goetz has been named the Salina General Civil Operations Manager. He will lead the Salina team to continue growing services and building relationships with clients throughout Kansas.

Kyle Godwin, PE, has been named to the Colorado General Civil Operations Manager. Kyle will be leading a team of site civil professionals, developing business opportunities throughout Colorado, and deepening relationships with long term clients.

“Kyle has stepped up to the challenge to continue the growth and development of the General Civil team in Denver,” said Senior Vice President and Municipal Services Division Manager Dan Aguirre PE, CFM. “Kyle has been part of this team since it was started by Jim Godwin in 2011. His experience and commitment to the team and the Company make him the right choice to lead this operation.”

Joe Anderson, PE, as the Salt Lake City General Civil Operations Manager, will be expanding municipal services in the area while leading a growing team of professionals in Utah. Joe, who has more than 17 years of experience as a drainage engineer, will be leading the team with land development plans for private, county, and municipal clients and optimizing roadway drainage systems on transportation-related projects.

“The municipal services division strategic plan has included growing Salt Lake City for several years,” said Senior Vice President and Municipal Services Division Manager Dan Aguirre PE, CFM. “Joe has been part of this team as one of our first hires, and we believe he has the leadership and production management skills to step into the leadership role, helping us advance our goals for the area.”
