Michael Daly, PE, has joined Wilson & Company in the Denver office as a Senior Civil Engineer.
“We’re very excited to add Mike’s expertise in design and management to our Denver Operations,” said Steve Salazar, Associate Vice President. “Mike provides solid engineering leadership and has managed multi-disciplinary teams on special interest stormwater and municipal projects, and we’re glad to have him as a member of our team in Colorado.”
Mike brings more than 22 years of experience in planning and design of water and wastewater conveyance systems, stormwater management, flood control, utility coordination, and pedestrian pathway systems. He has performed hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, flood hazard studies, feasibility studies, and environmental permitting for groundwater recharge projects. He also has experience with copper mines and groundwater contamination sites. He is responsible for quality control practices for project deliverables, and assures proper and efficient application of software programs, including Civil3D, ArcMap, HEC-RAS, FLO-2D, and WaterCAD.
Mike has a bachelor’s degree in hydrology & water resources from the University, of Arizona, and is a licensed professional engineer in Arizona and California.
He is a member of the Arizona Floodplain Management Association, and looks forward to becoming involved in floodplain management activities in Colorado.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys home improvement projects and a number of outdoor activities, including hiking and fishing.
