Picnic with a purpose raises $6,500!

Wilson & Company Inc., Engineers & Architects, with the support of numerous other local companies, raised $6,500 to support the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation with its third annual “Picnic with a Purpose” event.

Wilson & Company’s New Mexico offices select a charitable organization each year to benefit from this fund raising event as a way to reach out and give back to the community.  This year, the goal was to raise money for Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation.  Over 150 employees and family members enjoyed an afternoon picnic and raffle held at their corporate headquarters located at 4900 Lang NE on August 10, 2012.

Donations to the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation will support medical and occupational therapy services to families dealing with extraordinary challenges and staggering costs.  Carrie Tingley Hospital has been providing services to benefit New Mexico children for more than fifty years.  These services help to enhance the lives of acutely injured and chronically ill children and their families.  For more information, visit
