kcICON I-29/35 Design-Build, Paseo River Bridge - Kansas City, MO

This project features a landmark cable-stayed bridge over the Paseo River and upgrading I-29/35 to six lanes from north of the Route 210/Armour Road to Independence Avenue as well as reconfiguring six interchanges.

The corridor including the bridge over the Missouri River increases traffic capacity, and accommodates a future bicycle/pedestrian facility.

Services Provided

As a subconsultant to Parsons Corporation, Wilson & Company’s responsibilities included:

Leading all traffic engineering tasks
Assisting the contractor with maintenance of traffic (MOT) plans
Microsimulation of the corridor
Record drawings
Post-design services

Wilson & Company also provided the contractor team with traffic engineering and freeway/interchange solutions.
