Wilson & Company recently used our full arsenal of survey tools to complete an innovative project in Kansas City. The Lewis and Clark Viaduct consists of nine bridges on Interstate Highway 70 over the Kansas River. A concept was developed to replace or rehabilitate the viaduct bridges. As part of the preliminary engineering team, Wilson & Company incorporated data obtained from many tools including:
- Conventional surveying
- Static and RTK GPS
- Aerial digital orthophotography
- Terrestrial LiDAR scanning
- Bathymetric survey
- Mobile LiDAR mapping
