Horizon Wind Energy selected Wilson & Company to provide surveying services for their Meridian Way Wind Farm in Kansas spanning 33 square miles. The project extended over two years and included 100 section corners, survey plats, 130 ALTA surveys, and construction staking services. Legal descriptions were provided for additional road right-of-way that was required for transporting the turbines. We were selected for this project based upon our capacity to provide 10-12 survey crews, often on a quick turnaround, and our previous experience on other large corridor projects.
