Savina G. Garcia, PE, has been promoted to New Mexico Transportation Operations Manager
Savina G. Garcia, PE, has been promoted to New Mexico’s new Transportation Operations Manager at Wilson & Company Inc., Engineers & Architects. 
Savina has been with Wilson & Company for 19 years, elected as a shareholder in 2009,  and now leads the New Mexico Transportation Operation. Savina served on the Firm’s Governance Committee and assisted in the development of the new governance documents and played a vital logistics role in the Albuquerque office move in October 2017. In her new role, Savina will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the New Mexico Transportation Group and ensure that projects are managed to meet client’s objectives. She will lead enhanced reviews for large, complex program management projects to assess quality performance, risks, opportunities, staffing and client satisfaction. Her role includes working closely with area managers to meet the firm’s overall business objectives, including staffing, project performance and financial targets.
Savina brings extensive knowledge of project management, operations and regional business planning to her new role. She is well known for managing large projects around the state. Some of her notable projects include:  City of Albuquerque’s Paseo del Norte on Albuquerque’s Westside, Lead and Coal Avenues Improvements, City of Rio Rancho’s Southern Boulevard, and NMDOT US 285/NM 31 Intersection/Railroad Crossing Improvements.

Savina has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University. She is a registered professional engineer in New Mexico and Arizona.  She is active in community and industry organizations, including American Public Works Association (APWA), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and City of Albuquerque Development Process Manual Executive Committee.
