CMP Condition Assessment and Rehabilitation

In this presentation, speakers will discuss the goals of a Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) Storm Water Condition Assessment, the inspection process for small and large diameter culverts, and the development of the Condition Rating and Prioritization Ranking Systems that resulted in development of the Capital Improvement Program and budget for the City of Aurora, CO.  In addition, the speakers will discuss methods of rehabilitation for CMP as the basis of the condition assessment report.

Meet Our Presenters:

Leslie Crawford, PE, CFM, has focused on water resources and storm water pollution prevention. Her sensitivity to sustainability issues allow her to complete designs that provide the least impact to the natural world and help remediate damaged or altered environments. Prior to Wilson & Company, she worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Department of Energy on many types of civil and environmental engineering projects.

Steve Salazar, PE, has more than 18 years’ experience in hydrology/hydraulic studies and design, transportation engineering, and private and public works engineering. He was the Project Manager for the City of Aurora Stormwater CMP Conditions Assessment project. Other experience includes drainage channels, storm water pump stations, intake and outfall structures, erosion control, hydrologic analysis and open channel hydraulics, scour analysis, and bio-engineering.
