OMAHA, Nebraska – June 17 – Wilson & Company, Inc. Engineers & Architects, a national engineering and architecture firm with multiple award-winning projects throughout the Midwest, has hired Operations Manager Jay Prier, PE, PMP, to expand the Kanas City Facility Engineering team and services.
“We are excited to have Jay join us as the KC Facility Engineering Operations Manager. Jay brings with him a breadth of experience as both a technical lead for electrical engineering and as a project manager for large multidiscipline industrial projects. His focus on client relationships, team building, and project delivery fits our Higher Relationship culture,” said Senior Vice President and Facility Engineering Division Manager Jimmy Anderson, PE.
Jay’s 23 years of engineering and electrical design experience in the mining and industrial agriculture industries serve as a foundation to lead and expand Wilson & Company’s Kansas City Facility Engineering team. His experience performing detailed engineering in areas such as power distribution system design, analog and digital control systems, protective relaying, and power plant field engineering during construction and system commissioning, enables him to connect with the needs of our clients and provide effective solutions. Jay will lead his team to support full-cycle procurement activities of engineered equipment and subcontracts. His background ranges from small capital expansions to over 20 ethanol plants, a cellulosic ethanol plant, biodiesel plants, polyethylene production rail facilities, enzyme production facilities, and other industrial production facilities.
Jay will expand our services and offer clients project solutions built upon Higher Relationships through discipline, intensity, collaboration, shared ownership, and solutions. He looks forward to growing the Kansas City Facility Engineering team and practicing Higher Relationships to help our clients achieve their goals.
