Meet our Phoenix surveyor, Nate Gardner and planner, Brian Snider, who recently mountain biked 35 miles along the Black Canyon Trail. This 11-hour grueling ride included four river crossings, 3165 feet of elevation gain, 4000 feet of descent, and over 4,000 calories burned (each)!

As our Phoenix Survey Manager, Nate’s love of the outdoors continues to grow when spending time surveying, studying, biking and riding it. He has surveyed all across the state and done all types of projects from developers initial land speculation, to boundary, construction and final asbuilts. Nate has surveyed much of the International Border with Mexico, including some in California that runs into the Pacific Ocean. All of this has helped him find many great places to bike and do outdoor activities when not working.

Brian is an avid bicyclist, biking both within metropolitan Phoenix and outside in the great Arizona landscape. He has been instrumental in plans and studies with multimodal components, and recently worked on the Maricopa Association of Governments’ Multimodal Level of Service, which analyzed challenges of complete streets planning and design.
