Heartwell Renewables Diesel Unloading/Loading Facility
Wilson & Company provided professional engineering and design services to Heartwell Renewables on renewable diesel rail tank car unloading and loading systems in Hastings, NE. The project included civil, industrial track, mechanical, electrical, architectural, and structural design services on the facility. Civil services included drainage analysis and design. Existing utilities were accounted for and adjusted as needed to accommodate the new designs. The team coordinated closely with BNSF and UPRR to ensure the track designs met individual specifications. Mechanical engineering services included the design of the rail unloading/loading facility piping systems. Wilson & Company also developed the MEP building design for several buildings on the facility. Extensive electrical engineering design was done to accommodate many functions of the facility. Wilson & Company provided design on four buildings that support the rail operations on the project. Architectural elements on these buildings follow all local and federal design guidelines.
