Wilson & Company partnered with KDOT and the Safety Bureau to create the KDOT Drive to Zero Crash Data Dashboard. This interactive dashboard visualizes fatal and severe injury crash data from 2016-2021 (with plans to update with 2022 this fall), including the nature, frequency, and locations of fatal and severe injury crashes. The online interactive GIS dashboard is a powerful tool to help transportation professionals, local agencies, and the public make data-informed decisions about improving road safety in Kansas. This data can be used to identify crash trends, hot spots, and contributing factors. The dashboard includes a story map that walks users through using the data and understanding crash trends.
