This program is focused on developing fun, educational and motivational ways to keep our “family” healthy. Ongoing program benefits include the following:

Some example challenges include:

Annual Weight Loss Competition

  • We award prizes and recognition to teams and individuals losing the most weight over a three-month period. The average weight loss for participants is 8%.

Couch Potato to 5k in 9 Weeks Challenge

  • This challenge inspires employees to train for and complete a sanctioned 5k run or walk. Participants may enter as an individual or as a team, and employee spouses are eligible to participate.

Step Up Your Fitness Challenge

  • In the past, we provided pedometers to participating employees and challenged them to step up their fitness levels. Employees logged more than 4 billion steps or 450,000 miles! Rewards were given to all participants who met their fitness level goals. The top two walkers were awarded prizes as well.
