BNSF contracted Wilson & Company to review structural, drainage, and other plans developed by the Metropolitan Council. The project included demolishing and replacing overhead pedestrian and vehicle bridges, constructing a new overhead light rail transit (LRT) bridge, pier protection on overhead bridges, corridor protection barrier, retaining walls, relocation of approximately 3,000 feet of track and utilities, and a multiple underground drainage facility.
