Yellow Jacket Rosy Canyon Archaeological Survey

Wilson & Company successfully completed a comprehensive archaeological pedestrian survey spanning 2,596 acres of Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and school trust lands situated along the Utah-Arizona border. The Wilson & Company team meticulously documented and assessed the expansive area, unearthing 38 previously undiscovered prehistoric and historic sites. The survey not only involved identifying these significant sites but also included the strategic flagging of eligible locations to facilitate avoidance measures, preserving the rich cultural heritage embedded within the landscape.

In addition to the on-site investigations, Wilson & Company delivered a comprehensive archaeological report, encapsulating the findings and insights derived from the survey. The report is supplemented with prepared site forms, ensuring a thorough and systematic documentation.
